Join Us In Philadelphia

November 3, 2025

The U.S. debt, now at over $37 trillion, has escalated dramatically – from 54% of Gross Domestic Product in 2001 to 120% in 2024. Financing our debt burden puts immense pressure on our economy through higher interest rates, the threat of inflation, and crowding out of private investment. All of this puts this country at risk of a debt-induced fiscal crisis that could have enormous long-term fiscal, economic, and national security consequences.

Join Concord Coalition, Concord Action, and The Penn Wharton Budget Model for the Philadelphia Citizens Debt Forum, an event dedicated to educating Americans about the unsustainable national debt and giving everyone the opportunity to be part of the solution.

Monday, November  3, 2025

 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Free Library of Philadelphia, Montgomery Auditorium

1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103

This event will feature presentations from Carolyn Bourdeaux, Former U.S. Representative, Executive Director, The Concord Coalition and Kent Smetters, Faculty Director of the Penn Wharton Budget Model (PWBM), and more.
