How it works

We facilitate community budget workshops often attended by hundreds at a time. We divide participants into groups of five to ten to review current spending and revenue levels and discuss policies that will impact the Congressional Budget Office’s ten year projected federal budget deficit.

Each group makes recommendations for their budget, weighing the policy impact, economic consequences, and the political implications. Then, we facilitate a wrap-up discussion of the results and the opportunity for participants to describe their choices.
