PALM BEACH GARDENS — U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy is inviting the public to participate in a federal budget exercise Tuesday at Palm Beach State College’s Eissey Campus off PGA Boulevard. The Democratic congressman from Jupiter is working with the Concord Coalition, a nonpartisan organization that advocates responsible fiscal policy, to produce the budget exercise. Members of the public will make spending decisions and cuts in an attempt to balance a simulated budget. Tuesday’s budget exercise is scheduled for 1:30-3:30 p.m. in room SC 127 at the state college off PGA Boulevard south of The Gardens Mall. To participate, call Murphy’s Palm Beach Gardens office at 561-253-8433 or RSVP online by clicking here.
