Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) will host interactive budget workshops, in partnership with the non-partisan Concord Coalition, Tuesday, December 17th, in Moline and Galesburg to receive feedback from the people of her region of Illinois on their federal budget priorities.

The workshops are fully interactive — attendees will work in small breakout groups to act as legislators and decide how to best balance the budget, reduce the deficit and protect vital programs.

The events are free and open to the public, but space is limited.  To RSVP, or more for more information, please visit HERE or call Bustos' Rock Island office at 309-786-3406.

"I am pleased to have this opportunity to hear directly from my constituents and facilitate an open discussion on our budget priorities," said Congresswoman Cheri Bustos.  "As Democrats and Republicans continue to work together to balance job creation and growing our economy with getting our fiscal house in order, I look forward to hearing about your priorities for our region and country."
