Kansas City "Insight" -- a program series of the Kansas City Chamber, has invited The Concord Coalition and some of its partners for a forum on "Dollars, Debts and Decisions" related to the short- and long-term fiscal challenges facing our federal government and nation.

Three national experts will discuss the federal budget and deficits in light of the failure in November, 2011, of the Congressional Super Committee to propose deficit-reduction options.  They will look at where we are now, and where are headed....

Experts include:

  • Robert Bixby, Executive Director, Concord Coalition
  • G. William Hoagland, Vice President of Public Policy, CIGNA
  • Joseph Minarik, Senior Vice President & Director of Research, Committee for Economic Development

Dave Helling of the Kansas City Star will serve as moderator.
