The Concord Coalition is bringing the Fiscal Solutions Tour to the Union League Club of Chicago and to the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.

Expert panelists will dialogue with attendees about how to build a stronger economic future by meeting the challenges of unsustainable budget policies, spiraling debt, low savings rates, dangerous reliance on foreign lenders, and the growing needs of an aging population.  Cutting through the usual partisan rhetoric, ideological divides, and political smoke screens, the Fiscal Solutions Tour will focus on the positive: Where do we go from here?  What key decisions need to be made in the not-too-distant future?  How can reforms lead to a brighter future?

Panelists include:

Robert Bixby, Executive Director, The Concord Coalition

David Walker, Founder/CEO, The Comeback America Initiative and former Comptroller General of the United States

Joe Minarik, Vice President, Committee for Economic Development

Joe Antos, Wilson H. Taylor Scholar in Health Care and Retirement Policy, American Enterprise Institute
