Northern Virginia Fiscal Advisory Council to Hold Capitol Hill Meeting with Key Congressional Members

The Northern Virginia Fiscal Advisory Council will meet on Tuesday, October 13th at 4:30 pm in the Gold Room of the Rayburn House Office Building.  The project sponsored by The Concord Coalition and George Mason Univeristy will examine the impact of federal deficits on state and local governments.  The program titled "Deficits All Around:  Can Governments Work Together to Solve Common Fiscal Problems?" will feature a discussion with key members of Congress.  Schedule to appear are Virginia Congressman Frank Wolf, Jim Moran, Gerry Connolly, and Congressman Jim Cooper of Tennessee.  The event is open to the public.  To RSVP for this event, please contact Jeff Thiebert at [email protected] or (703) 894-6222.
