The Concord Coalition established Fiscal Advisory Councils around the country to focus on solutions to our nation's fiscal challenge.  Each council was crafted to the community's interests and held discussions, conferences, and exercises over the course of a year.  At the end of the year, each council and produced a final report reflecting their findings and recommendations.  In December 2009, representatives from each council met in Washington.  Armed with their reports, they urged their Congressional representatives to act.  Before returning home, the councils pledged to continue their efforts in the years to come.
