U.S. Debt is on an Unsustainable Path

This graph depicts historical and projected data regarding the debt held by the public as a percentage of the U.S. Gross Domestic Product. While the debt reached a high of 106% of GDP in 1946, it is projected to exceed that percentage and continue growing to unsustainable levels.
