College of Public Health graduate students in this health policy course will weigh the various mandatory spending and revenue policy choices associated with health care and the federal budget and determine which should be changed to help address our future deficits and health care spending.
Principles & Priorities is our flagship exercise that has been used in hundreds of High Schools, Colleges and Universities across the country. In it, participants make decisions about the best combination of program spending and tax policies to match with their larger sense of what the principles behind our budgets should be and what priorities the government should place at the forefront of fiscal decision-making.
