Executive Director Robert Bixby Gives Keynote to the CFO Roundtable

Summary:

Robert L. Bixby was the keynote speaker at the to the CFO Renaissance Conference, hosted by the CFO RoundTable, the premier networking forum for senior financial executives.  The conference was held  April 28th, 2010 at Bentley University.

During Bixby’s address, attendees will learn why executives must actively engage today to secure our economic future for tomorrow. “Current fiscal policy is unsustainable and puts our economic future at risk. The problem goes well beyond cyclical economic factors or war costs,” stated Bixby. “We have a rising structural deficit caused by an aging population, growing healthcare costs, lagging revenues and a dysfunctional political system. The business community, especially Chief Financial Officers, must engage in the search for solutions to avoid the crisis that awaits if serious action is not taken soon.”
